I don't own this record album (boy that kind of lingo shows my age)... I mean, I don't have this Mp3 download... so I can't vouch for the music. Then again, this weekly post isn't about sonic alchemy but rather visual wizardry.
I love the art work on this jacket cover. What says Halloween like the beautiful mugs of Kharis the Mummy, the Gill Man, and a killer Gorilla?
Great looking cover. I would buy it even if the music sucked - but only if it was a record album and not a CD.
ReplyDeleteI so totally agree with you Spoiler. As much as I've learned to love Cds (I'm one of those who never thought they sounded "cold" or sterile...I always loved the fact that the crackle and pops of my lps was gone) I still to this day MISS the huge full-cover art pieces (or gate-folds too) that grace the album jackets. Plus, when lyrics were printed you could read the blame words.
